Manufacture Flow
This process is written according
to the products skill of our firm, which only can be used to
manufast disks in our company.The disks in this processing in
120mm CD-ROM as follow:
(1) CD-DA laser player (2) V-CD vesion disks (3) CD-ROM
1.Mother
producing:
The mother producing is also called producing prefabricate.
Because of the arpealence of CD-R system. This procers can be
simplified as record the programme and data of CD-ROM Programme
into CD-R disks.
The process including the following steps.
(1)Data producing predcitly: reducing the VCD Vision programme
provided by customs.using produce predietly as soft ware, to
produce file addording to standard VCD in disks. If it is data
file, then according to CD-ROM ISO9660 imitately to produce
impressing file.This one imitate the streuture of the real CD-R
disk’s file and content .
(2)Record: record the existing CD-ROW impressing file into
CD-R disks using record software .One thing you must pay attention
to is that damage pause is mot allowed during the process otherwise,
disks will be broken, The common CD-R software surport many
kinds of CD.
(3)Mother producing: In fact, the process is that we record
data which has been processed and written in CD-R disks, into
glasses disks.For the quality of any CD-ROM used in the process
,so it is the pey step in the whole process.
The pit produced in the process of producing chief disk is the
smallest particles. Each of them is as small as a grain of fog,which
means that a large a number of data will be broken by the smallest
particles.So one of the critinal conditions in the process of
producing the mother disks and CD-ROM is number of mliro particles
in the air must be strickly controlled to keep the working enicoronmental
clean.
(4)Electuotype: the ultimate aim is producing metal model
that is used to duplicate CD. In the process of making glass.The
chief glass covesed with silver can conduct electricity and
then is put into the mixture that contains nickel ion.When it
conducts electricity, explorded area of the main glass with
Disk will stick nickdl ion.Nickel layer increaringly becomes
thicker.At last,the result is of becoming a thick and hard slice
of mickel whose surface was left a film. This wriginal metal
slice is called main metal slice or Father. The reason is that
it will produce another two metal slices: Mother and stampes.
And the number of Mother and stamper increases constantly through
afterward electrotype. Mother is produced by father, and stamper
is created by morther. Each piece opposite reflects another
piece.
Stamper is a complete depulication of the metal slice and
is also ultimate product of this stage, Plastic CD’s depulications
will be produced in large-scale through metal stample. In general,
according to original disk provided by clients, it is made into
a nickel Disk through such process as record, steam-plating,electrotype,pllishing,drilling
a hole, After inspecting, Mother production is over.
1.Dry DC:This step is completed by special plastic desicater,
the process and relles as following. Dry and hat air will take
mosituee actay and discharge into atmospleve so that which maks
the DC dry.
2.Formulation by shot. The first step of CD-ROM is to transfer
the data from stamper to plastic disk bare. A hi-acurate plaotic
model fills the empty model with melted sesin which is made
optical plastica. This lasts only a few seconds, its product
is a clear framwork of platic plate with one side printed pots
and another side with data is plated with a very thin layer
of pure aluinium. It is to form a reflection surface that reads
the data in the disk out. Sputtering is a typical method of
metal-platiy on a given disk. Taking shape by short is completed
by pricier mould plartics machine and special model, the process
and rules as following. The dried DC is melted into liquid and
under forcement of spin bar into cavity of mother disk and then
is coded for a while and then basic disk is formed.
3.film-plating in vacacem: It is completed by vacuum film-plating
machine.The process and secles as following.The basic disk is
carried by the machine into the cavity of the machine and moves
in a high speed, shelling the surface of disk, the stimulated
metal ions adhere to basic disk surface, forming a layer of
reflection film.
4.Paint protection gum and UV consolidation. A layer of hard
lacquer film is painted on the aluminium surface of the disk.
The layer will protect the aluminium film from scratehing and
oxidizing, and can be labed . Painting protection gum and V,
V consolidation is completed in droping gum station, spin-plating
station and harden station. The process and rules as following.Optical
disk,painted reflection film is carried in droping station to
drom gum, then in spin-plating station to plate when it moves
in high speed, The last, comsolidationizing UV, protection gum
in UV consolidation station.
5.AID test online: It is completed by autimate examing equipments.
The process and rules as following. Optical disks dried in consolidation
are carried onto the examing plateform. A highly speed camera
inside of examing equipment will be scanned quickly and weakness
will be disting wished. To judge wether optical disk qualified
or put on the shelfts.
6.Examine the sample of the disk outline. It is completed
by special optical disk test equipments. CD-DA,V-CD, will be
videoed and audioed by examiners, and the examines use CD-CATS
to examine CD-ROM. The qualified optical disk will be put to
the next process.
7.Surface print: The pectures can be printed on the layer
of the disk through high speed screen print or offset plate.
Screen print is the common way which transfers the picture into
a net with hole, and ink will adhece to the optidal disk through
the net. This process is similar with wax seal.
Offset plate uses ink roller to trasnsfer pictures. This method
was widely used in traditional commericial printing industry,
and now is used in priting register trade mark. It is better
than screen pint, it can pint strengthen 4-color pictures or
other complex pictures.
Process of print is completed by full-autimate print equipments.
The process and rules as following. The died disks are frasped
by meeanical worker and put on the plateform and then process
is finished.
8.Lnspecting Dackage,Outer disk should be inspected before
packing. Inspecting work should be completed by the packing
workers of observation according to the standard of inspecfing
disk. Only the standard produils can be packed. Disk can be
packed by automatli or hand-made methods .Plastic box is a common
form of packing in CD-ROM ,which also be used frequennlly. It
is decided by the feature of the plastic box which is durable.
Automatic produetion line is common.
Other forms of packing( some are hand-made) as follow:
(1)light packing
(2)fromspareof plastic set
(3)paper box is heneficial to the environmental proteetion.
